Catalyst

A catalyst is a resource that a production building keeps on hand to boost its output. In the game's words: Catalysts are consumed slowly over time, increasing the output of recipes when present.

Each catalyst is used up at a rate of one per 20 production cycles. Workers fetch new catalysts for the building as needed (shown as the Gathering Catalyst activity).
