		Salt is made in the Sifting Tower

The Bakery is used to turn Flour into Bread (2-star food quality) and Flour and Berries into Jam Pastries (3-star food quality).

Given the ease of producing Berries, there is currently no good reason to produce Bread instead of Jam Pastries while aiming for Tier 3 food production.

The Bakery consumes Fuel with all of its recipes and produces associated Pollution while in operation. It is best to locate it down wind from your Whiskers to limit its impacts.

The Bakery uses Table Salt as a production catalyst. Table salt is obtained via a recipe in the Sifting Tower which requires piped water and Rock Salt. It will increase production speed. This is one of the more difficult catalysts to use because of the limited supply of rock salt and the fact that it is also a critical component in Saline Solution and Medicine.

Despite operating an oven, a heater is still needed to keep this building warm in the winter.

Multiple bakeries are needed to keep up with a single Mill producing Flour from an uninterrupted supply of Wheat. There is not a golden ratio of Bakeries to Mills due to numerous confounding production factors. Increasing the number of Bakeries to keep up with Flour production may cause other supply chain issues like with Fuel.
