Supporter's Pack
The package is given for free to the original kickstarter backers from 2016 but other players can also purchase it. It includes:
- Alternate skin (Myrmecia ereptor) for gene-thief ant queens and workers
- Sound widget to listen to the music and voice lines in-game together with 37 original music tracks
- 16 wallpapers, 12 creature portraits and 19 emojis
You can change gene-thief ant species by clicking on the worker icon in adaptation menu or custom colony menu. The extra sound files and image files can be extracted from your game folder.
You can access the sound widget through the DLC manager in the main menu. You can change music volume, toggle intensity or add danger alert. You can randomly play voice lines from the respective missions, as well as voice lines of the scientist, the playable spider and the Chinese narrator.
Exploding Species DLC
The DLC introduces 2 new playable species and 2 extra missions for you to try out.
- Firebreak: You play as an exploding ant colony.
- No Ant's Land: You play as an exploding termite colony.
You can unlock exploding ant minor soldiers and exploding termite workers in the main story from the start. You can only unlock exploding ant major soldiers and exploding termite soldiers in the main story after you have beaten The REAL Final Experiment for the first time.
The new species and units are playable any time in arcade mode and custom game mode.
