A cycle (also called run) is the time when the king arrives at the destroyed kingdom until it is destroyed again or you win. Once a cycle ends, the Buildings, Units and most of the Resources are lost and need to be regained in the next cycle.

A cycle is 28 days long, with an extra day called day X so you are able to unlock some things on the Map.

Meta progression

There are some mechanics for a persistent (meta) progression:

  • Build roads will be preserved in the next cycles.
  • Witch can be bought and remain available at the start of a cycle to trade for raw Resources.
  • Unlocked passive abilities from the Mystic stay unlocked.
  • For each newly played Unit you will get an increase towards your Kingdom Level

History

Demo

A cycle used to be limited to 14 days.

Shards can be used to buy permanent upgrades for the Hero.

Any remaining Shards at the end of the cycle, would increase your starting Coins in the next cycle, up to a maximum of an additional 100 coins.
