Shore crabs attack mostly by pinching.

Shore crabs can slam on the ground to knock enemies back. Juvenile crabs can confuse enemies while adult crabs can stun them.

Adult crabs hide in the ground after being out of combat for 10 seconds, exposing only their eyes. They don't appear on minimaps or show health bars in the mean time. They only emerge when they take extra damage and have below 95% of their health.

Adult crabs can eat 4 small enemies at once.

Adult crabs can sometimes thrash violently to damage enemies over time, knock them back and slow them down.
