Feast Hall
Service Building
(City Buildings)
A place where villagers can fulfill their need for: Treatment, Brawling. Passive effects: Festive Mood.
Specialization bonus:
Cooperation (Comfort)
ID = 'Feast Hall'
Overview
The Feast Hall is a Harpy-themed service building that provides
Treatment for
Harpies and
Foxes and
Brawling for
Lizards and
Frogs when there is at least one worker assigned to the building. It also provides passive effect Festive Mood when all worker slots are filled.
The Feast Hall is a special building that can only be unlocked temporarily by completing the Somber Procession World Event using the "Join the funeral" option. Successfully completing a settlement after fulfilling all 3 Funeral Feast requirements will grant access to the Feast Hall as an essential blueprint for the next 3 settlements. This restriction cannot be bypassed by any means, and cannot be selected even if you get a wildcard blueprint from the Smuggler.
Building Effects
Service Building Mechanics
The Feast Hall, like all service buildings, does not require villagers to visit it in order to fulfill their needs. All services are fulfilled at the Hearth during a break. Feast Hall workers still have to carry service goods to the building before they can be consumed.
The Feast Hall does not need to be built within the Hearth Radius. It retains full functionality when built outside of the Hearth range, but will not count towards the level 3 Hearth upgrade unless all of the Feast Hall tiles are within its range.
Funeral Feast
The mourners thank you for your sympathy.
Before you complete the Somber Procession settlement, you need to go through all three stages (referred to as Parts) of the Funeral Feast to satisfy the World event's requirements and gain access to the blueprint for the next 3 settlements. You can only begin working on the Funeral Feast after you finish construction of the Feast Hall.
After you finish the last stage of the Feast, the building changes from a Glade Event to a regular service building, so you effectively have 4 games with access to Feast Hall.
As opposed to most buildings, Feast Hall won't be movable in the construction site form. Once constructed, the building can be destroyed, but all progress with the Funeral Feast event will be reset - even if was fully completed previously. It is possible to claim the Reputation reward multiple times. The World event requirement only needs to be fulfilled once to count. The building can be safely dismantled after finishing Stage 3, should you need the building materials.
