The Bloomery is an industry building that employs villagers who smelt Iron Ore into Iron Slabs.
Construction
The Bloomery requires 1 timber and 6 planks to be constructed. It can be placed anywhere in a players region, although it is recommended to place it near your iron ore deposit. Once built, it cannot be relocated.
Usage
Each Bloomery allows for up to two families to work there. Those workers will gather iron ore from nearby storehouses or mining pits and smelt it into iron slabs. Every one iron ore gets smelted into one iron slab. The slabs will than get stored in the storage of the Bloomery, where they need to be picked up by, for example storehouse workers. You can set a reserve and a production limit for Iron Ore and Iron Slabs respectively.
For the Bloomery to be funtional it needs to be supplied with fuel. It will consume one fuel per month. There is the possibility to set a fuel stockpile, so that the work doesn´t stop, when fuel runs out.
Furthermore for efficient usage the Bloomery needs to be constantly maintained with tools.
