Trading post
Trading Posts are buildings that employ villagers who import and export goods using regional wealth. There is a trade tree with perks for better rates for imports and route start up costs that will apply to trades in the trading post.
Construction
Trading posts require four timber to be constructed by the player via regular placement. They can be placed anywhere in a player's region but cannot be relocated once placed. It is often beneficial to place them with the trade points in mind to limit travel time during the trading process.
Use
Each Trading Post allows for up to four families to work there, with the workers performing tasks stocking goods to trade and trading. Horses will allow your traders to exchange up to 50 goods at once, making a more efficient trade. Horses do not need assigned to be used by a trade post and it is their only job in game right now.
In order to import, a region must have the regional wealth to do so. Starting off you will likely only be exporting things to create an economy. Common early game exports include hide, berries, firewood or planks depending on your region and it's natural resources and placement.
It is possible to affect the global economy thru trade, so if you are exporting only one good in mass amounts it is likely you will saturate the market and eventually it will be so over saturated they won't buy that item anymore. Having a diverse trade economy can help avoid this, and checking your trades occasionally will keep you informed on if you should halt trading any particular items temporarily.
Appearance
The Trading Post consists of warehouse and main building for trades to commence.
