A sawpit is a gathering building that employs villagers who process timber into planks at a rate of 1 timber to 5 planks.

Construction

Sawpits require 2 timber to be constructed by the player via regular placement. They can be placed anywhere in a player's region but cannot be relocated once placed.

Use

Each sawpit allows for up to two families to work there, with the workers performing tasks turning timber into planks.

In order to produce planks, an ox must move a piece of timber stored at a logging camp or simply lying on the ground, and take it back to the sawpit, where workers will load it into the sawpit and create planks. Planks can be collected in a storehouse.
