Damage modifying effects

Mechanics

Buff can only be inflicted on the users while debuff can only be inflicted on enemies.

Each creature can be inflicted with the same damage modifying effect multiple times at once but the effects can't be stacked in value, except for Weakening, Crippling and damage flash-buff.

Resistance modifications are only applied after [resistance - piercing] has been calculated in the damage formula. General damage buff and armor buff are applied before the stats are put in damage calculation.

Resistance debuff has a maximum value of 100%.

Examples

The attacker deals 10 physical damage and has 20% piercing. The defender has 10% physical resistance and 1 armor. The defender is inflicted with a - 30% resistance debuff and a + 2 armor buff.

=> Total damage = [10 - (1 + 2)] x [1 - (0 - 0.3)] = 9.1
