Abilities

Soldiers can stun enemies and launch themselves away when they are fighting on the surface.

Exploding

Workers can only explode 2 minutes after they are spawned. You can see the role icons change from worker to explosive.

Explosion damage and effect damage increases along with living time. The damage buff reaches the maximum value 2 minutes after they become explosive.

You can disable exploding to prevent your workers from exploding and let them attack normally.

You can enable both exploding and attacking to make workers explode immediately against any enemies.

You can enable exploding and disable attacking to make workers explode only against attacking enemies.

Food processing

Exploding termites can only feed on lignocellulose.

Lignocellulose storage tiles can hold 10/ 40/ 100 lignocellulose. Queen tiles can't hold any resources.

You receive 66.67% of the building cost as lignocellulose from deleting tiles.

Trivia

  • Exploding termite workers store laccase BP76 in special pouches on their backs in the form of blue crystals. The enzyme will be mixed with hydroquinone substrates in their salivary glands to create toxic liquid during autothysis.
  • Exploding termite soldiers have the fastest bite speed in the world most likely due to their asymmetrical jaws.
