The Heating Stove is the most efficient of the fuel-consuming heaters. It is also slightly larger than the bonfire, being 2 tiles high. This may create some issues when trying to replace bonfires in tight spots, such as mushroom farms or tiny corners.
Much like the Bonfire, this heater produces substantial pollution, and it will be noticeable when using multiple Heating Stove's to heat a colony.
Heating Stoves provide heat out to 6 tiles (red) with an additional 2 tiles of moderate warmth (yellow). The difference between the Heating Stove and the Bonfire is that the Heating Stove provides more tiles of maximum warmth (dark red) than the bonfire. This extends out 2 tiles from the Heating Stove. Using "Overdrive" will improve the heating of the heater by 2 tiles overall (dark red, red, and yellow will all move out 2 tiles - for a maximum increased range of 2 overall). This will cost you double the fuel consumption rate for the Heating Stove on which it is activated.
Heating Stoves require a Fire Tender to provide it with fuel. They hold 8 units of fuel.
