Water

Water is a resource collected from Space Mining. It represents both water (for human consumption, cooling, etc.) as well as any hydrogen or oxygen that might be refined from water (for rocket engines, etc.).

Water is primarily used for crew upkeep on habs and to fuel the drives of most spaceships. Smaller amounts are used to build and maintain a wide range of modules for habs and components for spaceships.

Water is a moderately common resource, though it is scarce on Luna. Mars and Ceres have it in abundance, however, as do a large number of asteroids and comets available in the early game.

If the player does not have enough water in space, it can be purchased from Earth for 1 Money per unit and raised into space for Boost. As water is very abundant on Earth, it has no sale value.
