Griffin

The Griffin is a Unit in Super Fantasy Kingdom. It can appear as a Monster that attacks your kingdom and it can be recruited as a unit to fight for you.

Unlocking

The Griffin is unlocked when it's caught by the Trapper's trap.
In the Human Kingdom the Griffin is unlocked on the map at 75 × Glory and a total of 15 × Shards spend on the first island in the Voyage.

Map Quest

By completing it's quest in the Undead Kingdom the Griffin rewards you with .

Field 4 Airborne units.

Heroes classified as Airborne can count towards this total.

Consider jailing and banishing non- Airborne units.

The Griffin evolves into the File:Hippogriff.png Hippogriff. To evolve a Unit they must be upgraded to .

History

Changed in the Early Access 0.7.052 update.

Units now promote with Coins, they used to promote with Ingots.
Unit evolution used to require you to have their dwelling on the map. This can be done by building it on a File:Pentacle.png Pentacle spot, or by discovering it on the map while playing their Kingdom.

In the Undead Kingdom the Griffin is unlocked by fulfilling its quest for the achievement.

The Griffin is an unknown monster/unit, only mentioned in some patch notes.^[1] The Griffin can also be seen as a monster in the game's trailer as well as in one of the screenshots on the steam store. These suggest that the Griffin will be a purchasable unit as well as possible a monster which will attack your kingdom.

Since it can be seen flying it will likely be an Airborne monster/unit.
