Coins are used to acquire permanent upgrades. They are acquired as taxes from buildings by the king and by defeating bosses.
Acquiring
- When the king visits a building he collects 2 ×
Coins as taxes - The Goblin King boss drops a total of 18 ×
Coins - The Mantis boss drops a total of 36 ×
Coins
Uses
Coins are used to buy permanent upgrades that persist between runs and play an important role in the global progression.
Units can have their ability unlocked when bought from the Witch for 100 × File:Treasure.png Treasure each.
Orbs can be bought from the
Mysterious Stone, which allow an exchange for one starting resource.
History
- Coins were renamed from Treasure in Demo build 61
- Taxes were introduced in Demo build 46. Before that treasures was dropped by defeated enemies. Increasing Curse could be used to fight more enemies and gather more treasure.
