Evolution

The Griffin evolves into the File:Hippogriff.png Hippogriff. To evolve a Unit they must be upgraded to .

History

  • Units now promote with Coins, they used to promote with Ingots.
  • Unit evolution used to require you to have their dwelling on the map. This can be done by building it on a File:Pentacle.png Pentacle spot, or by discovering it on the map while playing their Kingdom.
  • the Trapper was introduced as the new unlocking method for Units. The Griffin used to be Unlocked by the following in each kingdom
  • In the Undead Kingdom the Griffin is unlocked by fulfilling its quest for the achievement.

The Griffin is an unknown monster/unit, only mentioned in some patch notes.[1] The Griffin can also be seen as a monster in the game's trailer as well as in one of the screenshots on the steam store. These suggest that the Griffin will be a purchasable unit as well as possible a monster which will attack your kingdom.

Since it can be seen flying it will likely be an Airborne monster/unit.

Currently the Griffin does not appear in the game. It's unknown if the Griffin will reappear in a later release.
