Hides

Hides are a crafting resource produced by Burgage Plots raising goats in the Animal Pen extension.
Use
Hides can be converted into 
leather at a Tannery. Leather is, in turn, used by burgage plots with the appropriate extension to produce clothing or footwear.
- As of Experimental BETA (0.8.035), leather can only be used to produce footwear in a cobbler extension. It is no longer used to produce clothing.
Production
Hides are produced by families raising goats on their burgage plot. Goats are one of two livestock options for the Animal Pen extension. Once reared, goats are harvested for their 
meat and their hides.
