Firewood is one of two fuel resources in Manor Lords, along with
charcoal.
Use
Firewood is the base fuel resource. Fuel is a requirement for the functioning of burgage plots, the manor, and a variety of industries through workplaces and extensions. Firewood can be converted into
charcoal at the charcoal kiln.
Production
To produce firewood, a settlement requires a woodcutter's lodge. Workers assigned to the lodge go to nearby forests to cut down trees and transport them back to the lodge, where they split the trees into firewood. Storehouse workers then collect the firewood from the woodcutter's lodge and deliver it to the storehouse. From the storehouse, firewood can be delivered to workplaces and extensions, or sold via a marketplace stall.
Storage
Firewood is a perishable resource damaged by weather unless stored in a storehouse or in the woodcutter's lodge.
