Roisin Murdock is a Pilot from planet Mock. She belongs to the Zayn-Beecher_Corp, serving as vehicle-based security for their employees. If the player serves ZB well enough, they will render said security permanently to serve alongside your marines.

Murdock, along with Harlan Corlain and Wu Wei, is a special Honor Guard unit: she can only be recruited after gaining a sufficient level of trust with a particular faction, in her case the Zayn-Beecher Corporation. Hiring any one of these characters makes the trust requirement for the other two higher, so the player will be unable to get all three at the same time. To make up for the comparatively higher difficulty of recruiting them, these characters have higher stats than most 2-star units, and possess 5 rather than 4 unique Perks.

Background & Lore

Roisin “Rose” Murdock runs security detail for Zayn-Beecher’s VIP employees. She may have been partially demoted in this role after a Rhakarian blew her right arm off, a debilitation that has moved her into piloting hardware instead of operating directly in the field. Talented as she might be, Murdock’s allegiance to a megacorporation automatically ranks her under the floorboards of SAGE’s Trustability Scale.

Trivia

Roisin is a storied Irish name and is pronounced "Roh-sheen."

The description for her Overtime perk is a reference to one of the dreadful boss's lines from the movie Office Space; Bill Lundbergh constantly asks the protagonist to come in during the weekends with a grating "Thaaaaaanks."
