Biography
| After Lord Edgar’s entourage fell to a bandit ambush, Pip and his mother — a pair of simple peasants — helped him recover. Conceited as he was, Edgar then valued hard work he witness and took on the sharp-witted boy as a servant. In this new and unfamiliar environment, Pip quickly realized the power of reading and writing. Now, the world is an open book to him, and he still remembers how dim life was before he stepped into the wonders of a library. |
