| Keandra was always quick and clever. But during an expedition, she encountered Marl. When the ugly creature’s gaze fell on her, the ground turned to sand, wax, web — liquid beneath her feet. And her legs failed her. In that moment, she realized speed and bravery weren’t enough — she needed strength, better tools, and sturdier legs. So she became a cavalier, a jouster. And she swore never to feel helpless again. |
