The Family Tree shows all the Clanfolk that have been part of the player Clan.

Multiple generations of a Clan can be active at any stage of a Clanfolk game; with Adults becoming Seniors and then dying of old age, while Babies become Juveniles and then Adults The Main Toolbar has a link to display the Family Tree which just after beginning a game will look almost identical to the Clan screen that was displayed during Game Creation. After multiple game years the initial Clanfolk will have aged, or died, and new individuals should have been added.

Workers will not be displayed on the main tree unless they marry into the player Clan (current hires are shown in a row under the youngest Clan members) (and other Visitors won't be displayed at all). But every other Clanfellow will be shown with a line of lineage traceable back to the Matriarch and Patriarch of the Clan. Every partnership is displayed with the Clanfellow that is a direct descendant on the left and the partner that married into the Clan on the right.
Should a Clanfellow have died young enough for their widow to remarry a toggle will be shown on the Family Tree to switch between spouses.

Clan Chief information is displayed on this page, a Clanfellow must have been born into the Clan to be a potential Chief.

Expanding the Family

Long term Clan survival requires both of the following methods to be utilised. With no Babies being born, everyone will age to Senior and die. With no Workers marrying into the Clan, no partners exist to create more Babies.

Having Babies

Getting young members of the Clan is achieved through Pregnancy. Adult (not Senior) women in the Clan can, with a partner, potentially become Pregnant; various conditions must be met first, including high Mood, private Room, not recently pregnant.
A full game year will pass from the moment of conception until the new family member can start working for the Clan. Pregnancy is half that time, during which the woman will work as normal. The offspring will be a Baby for the second half of that year, and proves a significant drain on the Mothers time, reducing her ability to work on normal Jobs and tasks.

Marrying Workers

Getting new Adult members is achieved through hiring Workers and then marrying them into the family. This requires the Worker to enjoy being a part of the Clan enough that they are very Satisfied. If the Clan has an unwed Adult of the opposite gender the Worker may offer to join the Clan through marriage.
