The Brineworks is a Food Production farm building that uses nearby Farm Fields to grow  Salt and  Insects.

Brineworks is unlocked at level 15.

Seasonal Work

As a farm building, the Brineworks requires different tasks to be done each Season, these are:

• Drizzle: Planting takes place. Double Yield chances are calculated during planting.
• Clearance: Harvesting takes place.
• Storm: Plowing takes place. Plowing applies +10% Double Yield chance to Farm Fields.

Strategies

• The Brineworks allows for production of  Salt in Biomes where this would otherwise be difficult or impossible. This can be especially helpful if you need to produce  Paste but have been unable to produce or purchase  Dye.
