The Coppersmith uses copper and bronze ingots to make scissors, fire tongs, and bronze nails.

Scissors are produced using copper ingots at a rate of 2 copper ingots to 3 scissors. Scissors are used as a catalyst in all fiber supply chain buildings such as the Weaver, Flax Spinner, Cotton Gin, and Tailor. Scissors are notably expensive compared to other catalysts like rope and careful consideration about your supply chains and resource availability should be taken into account before manufacturing and deploying this catalyst.

Fire tongs are made using bronze ingots at a rate of 2 bronze ingots to 3 fire tongs. Fire tongs are primarily used as a catalyst in high heat buildings like the Charcoal Furnace, Ore Furnace, and Blast Furnace. It is also a catalyst for the Tea Roaster. This catalyst is even more expensive than Scissors, but may prove useful in speeding up very slow production buildings like the Blast Furnace.

Bronze nails are made using bronze ingots at a rate of 1 bronze ingot to 3 bronze nails. These nails are not a catalyst and are used to construct Furniture, a Luxury item, at the Carpenter.

The Coppersmith can only produce one recipe at a time, so you will need more than one if you want a continuous supply of all three items. Since this building consumes metal ingots, you will definitely want to consider tight production limits so that you don't run out of copper or bronze inadvertently. The availability of these metals is not as consistent as crops because miners have to continuously discover and extract new ore veins.

The catalyst for this building is wooden vices which coincidentally is produced at the Carpenter. This creates a relationship where the Carpenter is producing the catalyst for the building that makes its essential supply of bronze nails.
