The simplest storage you can make, only takes a few logs and can store 55 goods.
The Storage Shed is a good option early in the game or when space is at an extreme premium. Its small size allows it to fit almost anywhere, but its limited storage space makes it limited in its use cases. It is a good idea to build a few in the early game as the Central Warehouse will likely get overwhelmed before better storage options become available.
The Storage Shed is more expensive than the Small Warehouse once wooden planks become reasonably available (5 logs * 5 planks each = 25 planks of which 21 are needed for a Small Warehouse).
The storage shed is the only Warehouse that does not have a conveyor belt input.
