Steam Tanks provide storage of steam on steam lines to which they are attached. This is vital for ensuring steam is available to consumers since the Steam Boiler is not active all of the time and has an incremental production rate.
Steam Tanks can be located anywhere there is space for their 3-tile high footprint. You can bury them underground or leave them in the open. They have a single steam connection point on their first floor which means you cannot connect them together like Water Tanks. Steam Tanks can be built instantly wherever they are placed.
Steam Tanks provide storage for around 500 units of steam.
