A Rail Booster that will speed up trains and requires a steam connection to operate.
Do note that the Rail Booster only works in one direction, so to speed up the carts going both directions, at a minimum, one will be needed on both ends of the track.
The only steam input for the Rail Booster is located on top of the steam tank. This will need to be considered in its placement in relation to available steam pipes. The Rail Booster appears to consume little if any piped steam currently, but does boost the speed of the passing cart as long as it is connected to piped steam.
Multiple Rail Boosters in succession do appear to boost the cart more than just a single Rail Booster. The provided boost is not linear, so more Rail Boosters wont eventually launch your Whiskers into orbit. Three or four at the start of a trip can reduce a 40-50 rail segment trip down to a few seconds. Due to friction on the line, it may be necessary to space out Rail Boosters on very long rail lines to ensure a consistent transit speed.
