Paths
Buildings paths can improve travel speeds, create intentional paths of travel, and add to the aesthetic beauty of your town.
Paths can be build at any height, however if you are building above the grade of the ground or over water, there will be an additional resource cost of logs to build supporting structures that connect the path to the ground.

Path Decorations
Path decorations are additions to pre-existing paths that can add visual appeal to your town. They are free to build, meaning they don't cost any materials, and can be placed on any 4 sides of a path tile. You can only place one per side of a tile, so if there is an existing path decoration in place and you add another on top of it, it will be replaced by the new one.
Although path decorations take up visual space in the path, they do not collide with your Whiskers or interrupt their paths of travel. Fences and railing will not interrupt current Whisker travel but they will begin routing around these objects placed in their way.

Stairs & Bridges
Stairs and bridges provide your whiskers the ability to traverse the terrain smoothly.
Stairs are required for your whiskers to move between levels of ground, and they have various travel speeds and physical footprints. All stairs other than the steep stairs are unlocked via Research/Schematics.
