The Ocean Outlet Pipe is a niche building that allows you to pump water out of a self-contained portion of water.

If you surround a body of water with land so it is no longer contiguous with the rest of the "sea," it will become finite. You can then use a Water Pump to remove the water over time. If you have no use for the water or want to expedite the process, you can use an Ocean Outlet Pipe to return the water to the rest of the sea.

You cannot use this building to make your own lakes.

This building must be placed partially on land and partially over the water. Once connected to a water line containing water, it will automatically begin dumping water. Clicking on this building will yield no interaction menu. No Whiskers are required to operate it. It can be deconstructed once used.
