The Drop-down Slide are part of your conveyor system, they allow resources that are on belts to be moved downwards to the a lower level, chaining these together is possible.
Being a slide, goods moving along a Drop-down Slide move faster than on the regular conveyor belt. Goods cannot be dropped on the ground or into the sea. Any goods will magically sit at the end waiting for a proper connection to a warehouse or another conveyor belt. Deleting a Drop-down Slide with goods in this condition will move them back to the prior conveyor segment.
Drop-down Slides are a good way to merge conveyor belt lines.
