Description
We can no longer have our cake and eat it: that much is clear. We cannot be an organization that offers surrender with one hand, but slaughter with the other. Peace is the only realistic long-term outcome for humanity, and on that enough of us are now agreed. We will demand that those among us who hold more extreme views either compromise or leave. Once we are of one mind, no matter what it might cost us, we can enact our great plan: to prove decisively to the aliens that Earth is not theirs for the taking, but neither is it their enemy.
