What the Protectorate lacks in advanced missile technology, it makes up for in volume. These rocket launchers are just a series of tubes banded together with an ignition circuit run through them but up close, where they can't miss, their damage rivals that of even a particle beam.

[CKEY]: Give it to whoever runs weapons development in the Protectorate Navy, obviously. Alexander and I modified the ignition triggers for electrical heat-sensitive fuzes, these should have better reliability in cold black than the atmospheric factory standard.
[NVAN]: Clever. Average failure rate? I was the one who wrote the original report on that.
[CKEY]: Zero. The only hang-up is that you can't fire it all at once, each trigger needs to be carefully timed to the ignition order. It's still rapid fire but instead of a shotgun blast, it'll be more like a machine gun.
[NVAN]: You're wasting your talents with the Sevens. Were you not a traitorous snake, I'd say you should work with me.
[CKEY]: How thoughtful. I wouldn't accept anyway, I have things I need to do and I can't be tied down in an us-vs-them system.
[NVAN]: That's funny considering you're helping us under the table. Just keep your head down, Cass. When Sam rolls in looking for blood, you won't be getting any help from me.
