TO: PROTECTORATE NAVAL COMMAND
FROM: OTDEL
Constantine, we have finished development of the Blackjack and are in the process of deploying it among the fleets. This should give you the necessary countermeasure to the Alliance's electro-optical munitions, we believe you will find it quite invaluable.
Unfortunately, we had to sacrifice some of the cooling systetm and housing armor to make it fit within our alloted budget, so you are advised to be careful in the device's usage until we can develop additional cooling. Once the Alliance understands what this device is capable of, the Blackjack will shoot to the top of the target priority list. Ambush your targets, deny their EO weapons, destroy them.
Good hunting.
- ↑ provided the sensor is looking in the jammer's direction, similar to radar jamming cones.
