Component:es32-scryer
In Game Description
The ES32 is a missile defense and support system which uses a mixture of dedicated sensors placed around the hull, as well as the warship's own integrated radar panels, to determine the capabilities of incoming missiles in order to defend against them. Capabilities of identified missiles will be automatically tagged to the threat's sensor track. Additionally, the Scryer can directly integrate with the point defense control systems of the host warship to determine what decoys need to be fired in order to counter a given threat, preventing waste of limited resources.

Lore
Full designation- SN/KES-32 Missile Identification Set, codename Scryer. The Parallax was a widely successful project for the Alliance but, as with most things from the Naval Office, the sheer development costs and manufacturing troubles meant that the Parallax is a 'what you see is what you get' kind of thing. The base Parallax was supposed to have the Scryer as a standard-issue subsystem but by the time the Deshima Blitz was drawing toa[sic] close, the Parallax was starting to hit your typical budget overruns..
It was, instead, designed to be a modular subsystem to be attached on any radar set utilized by the Shelter Alliance. Marines got their own equivalent, the SM/MES-20 Mirror, but it's used to detect artillery instead of, you know, anti-ship missiles. The difference is that the Scryer can be keyed to automatically trigger optimal countermeasures, but, personally, I wouldn't trust my life to something like that..
