A hasty modification to the container banks normally carried on large cargo ships, fully enclosing them and adding just enough structural support to carry the mass of the elevator pads during maneuvers without compromising storage space.

Lore
King reaches forward, cycling the EPU switch to the off position. "Watchman, Firelight-1. Ship battery disconnected, I'm on internal. Setting datalink to your port now," he rattles off into his comms. Around him, his wing begins their slow ascent upwards towards the airlock, the deck crew sealing their oxygen masks as they step away from the lifts. King looks to his right, watching the red-lit observation booth overseeing the hangar deck. The Space Boss writes down radio codes on the glass, giving King a thumbs-up.
"Firelight-1, Watchman. Data's being wired to you now on your MFD. Be aware that we detected the Alliance frigate, Midnight Oil, in the vicinity but is, currently, unaware of our presence. The Caltrop is masking us in its sublimation."
King looks down at his MFD, a flight path already downloaded. There's a roar as the lift makes a seal around the airlock, followed by the rumble of atmosphere leaving the chamber. "Any coverage?"
"Flycatcher-1 reports zero brigand contact but we did recieve a brief glint from an unknown source. We believe it was Seer wing performing a test."
The airlock doors separate as the lift finishes its ascent, leaving King's barracuda bathed in water ice as the nearby Barracudas silently lift off from the lift deck. King leans back, huffing aloud. "Seer wing's alsways testing something," he replies.
"Regardless, stay alert. The Midnight Oil was presumed destroyed by Vance, we need this ghost ship verified."
"We'll get it done."
