Component:c30-cannon
In Game Description
Engineering large turrets is difficult, but Protectorate shipyards were able to slap together the T20 and T30 series out of spare sheets and leftover parts. They're not the prettiest turrets in known space, and they only fire small 100mm rounds, but when fired into a hole opened up by a larger weapon they can wreak havoc inside.

Lore
Cass steps back over the danger line, drawing the firing trigger from the carabiner on her spacesuit's belt. "Stand-by," she calls into the mic, her fellow pirates stepping away from the makeshift firing range to mill about on the edges. The turret smoothly rotates, the four guns polished and shining off the bay's light as they point towards the open blastdoor. A husk of an old Shelter corvette sits mostionless in space, highlighted by the shine of the nearby nebula
"Fire in the hole," she finishes, punctuating her call with a click on the trigger. The cavernous hangar lights up with cannonfire as the four guns rattle off shot after shot, empty shells spilling out with resounding clangs. The corvette's hull releases clouds of sparks as armor-piercing shells go through the metal, replying with a shuddering groan as metal breaks and shatters. The guns cease fire, the four barrels glowing a red hot as the turret angles itself upward, moving into a 'safe' position.
Satisfied, Cass returns the trigger to her belt, keying her wristcomp. "Alexander, message Caesar and tell him we're ready."
