Component:bw1500r-drive
In Game Description
Heavy civilian drive for cargo vessels, hastily reinforced when commandeered.
Gameplay usage
Unlike the ANS FM500R, the relative fragility of all other OSPN large drives does leave this drive with a useful niche.

Notes
Multiple drives do not inherently affect the mobility of a ship, only provide redundancy, however, the modifiers to a ship's mobility are a combination of all installed drives' modifiers, so installing drives with multiple of the same effect can further affect it's capability (two whiplash drives will provide more speed than one, but a whiplash and standard drive will provide no different speed than a single whiplash). If some drives are disabled, only those drives' modifiers will be removed, which may even result in the ship's mobility improving in some cases (such as a prowled drive being disabled). If all drives on a ship are knocked out, it will not be able to move altogether.
Most drives have a small and large counterpart. Asides their sizes, OSPN drives tend to be less conformal in the differences between big and small than their ANS counterparts.
The BW1500-R's Small counterpart is the BW800-R, which simply provides less hitpoints and a lower DT.

Barry, it's Mila- the guy from Group 1 propulsion, I'm sending a quick message for you to pass on to reed; the togglelock idea for the driveline worked out fantastic, one pull and it completely vents all the waste heat. It turns the drivebay into a sauna and everybody starts sweating buckets but I think we managed to completely eliminate the reactor overdraw when the drive gets put out of sync- or at least, mitigated it.
Vogt-Jager tried to do this with the radiation force mitigation thing or whatever the hell they called it but they always liked their 'lowest bidder' contracting, so of course it was up to Bulwark to fix it up. Shame they didn't think of this sooner. I sent the design to Koenig and she's going to try to pass it on to Command Engineering, maybe we'll get everybody using these. Sorry for the ramble, I know you don't care, I'm just really satisfied and need someone to talk to.
By the way, Reed uses a false sleeve on his right jacket arm when we're playing cards. If you see him bring it under the table, he's absolutely drawing out an ace. Just a heads up
