Fedor Yazhov, or "The Yaz," is a Squad Leader, belonging to the Tramontane group. He is of Russian descent, as evinced by his barks and dialogue, and is one of the if not the most vicious and ruthless mercenaries the Wayback System has ever known -- a fact amply reflected in his Perk Tree, which revolves around slaughtering weakened foes at close range. But judging from his fondness towards his Babushka and his unique perk "Gostepriimstvo Babushki", even The Yaz can still have a warm heart.

Trivia

The Yaz is depicted holding a customized R14A2 ARC "CSP" rifle. He uses magazines which match the weapon's factory finish instead of the standard black, replaces the standard collapsible stock with a folding stock, and does not use the multifunctional laser aiming module typically seen on the right handguard of a Wayback ARC CSP.

"Gostepriimstvo Babushki" roughly translates to "Grandmother's Kindness" in English.

Behind the Scenes

His voice actor is Greg Kolpakchi. While the Yaz is apparently of Russian descent, Mr. Kolpakchi himself was born in Yalta, Ukraine. He has also voiced various characters in Diablo IV and Commander Pax in Battlefield 6.
