Garry Boganwright, or "Bog," is a Pilot, belonging to the IXth Tank Formation. By far the oldest Marine in the mission to the Wayback System, Bog might seem at first glance to be slow of both wits and reflexes. This is not entirely inaccurate, as he is only a 1-star pilot and has the lowest stats of the three starting pilots. Still, his very low deployment costs can make him far more useful than you might expect, and his top-tier skill can be devastating if wisely used.

Background & Lore

A decorated Marine, Boganwright has already seen plenty of the TCR's reuniting of the Core Worlds. Though deep into retirement age, he was one of the first to sign up for the dangerous mission into the Wayback. Bog is missing both legs which leads to minor physical impediments, but nothing the mechanical replacements cannot resolve.

Trivia

The insignia of Bog's unit, the 9th Tank Formation, bears the motto "SEMPER PARATUS", which is Latin for "Always Ready."

Behind the Scenes

His voice actor is Nathan Osgood. Mr. Osgood is best known for Holmes & Watson (2018), The English (2022) and Central Intelligence (2024), but gamers might recognize him as Marlow from Aliens: Dark Descent and various voices in Hitman III.

• Patch #6 - FIXED Bog emotional states now match the audio files
• Patch 10 - FIXED Bog, Achilleas and Yaz did not have inactive portraits in the 'Deceased SL' panel
• Patch_v0.7.6+19301 - "Lucky Shot" can no longer be used again while the effect is active, preventing wasting AP by double-clicking the skill, and "Juryrigged" is only usable if the vehicle actually has a defect
