Charles Lim is a playable infantry Squad Leader from the 81st Astral Assault of the TCR Marine Corps. He is an extremely ambitious Marine seeking to rise up in the military as quickly as possible, but his impressive skills, in particular his versatility, make him more than a worthy candidate. Reflecting this, his starting Perk is Aspiring, making Lim's promotions the least costly of all the SLs.

Furthermore, Aspiring applies when Promoting but not when Demoting: the points refunded from Demoting reflect the points of a normal 2-star rated character. Background & Lore

Born on a moon, Lim was inspired to join the Marines after a platoon saved his colony from pirates. He has participated in one reunification campaign and, knowing the precarious state of the Wayback System, given its infestation with pirates and criminals, joined the mission to bring order to it.

Trivia

His character portrait appears to depict a R228A1 MRS assault rifle. These are implied to have semi-recently become the standard issue TCR Marine rifle.

Behind the Scenes

His voice actor is Robin Liew Harper. Mr. Harper is a British actor of mixed Malaysian Chinese and English descent, and since he began working in 2022 in SloClap's 'Sifu' has appeared in roles such as Tessho Yamaoka in Rise of the Ronin and various voices in Age of Empires II and IV.
