Description
A heavy military grade laser used in ship to ship combat. A devastating weapon against vehicles and heavy armor. Overheats quickly and has to be vented but has unlimited ammo. This weapon is mounted on a tripod to be carried by infantry. It has to be set up to be fired and slows down any squad carrying it.
Weapon Skills
Fire a highly focused laser beam at the target. The beam will burn with ease through even the hardest armor. Ideal against medium and heavy vehicles. Does half damage against structures. Builds up 4 heat points.
The weapon heat traps are vented to cool down the system and reduce heat buildup.
Set up the heavy weapon in a firing position and ready it for use.
This unit is encumbered and has its movement costs per tile increased by 3.
