Rhea was never meant to survive. The smallest, driest egg of the clutch, she hatched against all odds and evaded the many dangers of the tunnels. Believing Mearea herself watched over her, she nurtured a whimsical notion — perhaps she was the goddess's descendant. Unlikely as it seems, Rhea's remarkable luck is hard to deny.
