Recruitment is a skill that increases the growth of lower-tier units in the hero's cities.

Levels

Basic Recruitment
+4 to tier-1 creature growth in all your cities.
Advanced Recruitment
+4 to tier-1 and +3 to tier-2 creature growth in all your cities.
Direct Supervision
If the hero is in a city at the start of a week, growth of all creatures in that city increases by an additional 50% growth.
Elite Guards
Tier-1, tier-2 and tier-3 friendly creatures gain 25% of the hero’s Attack and Defense as Attack and Defense. This bonus is doubled if the hero knows “Tactics”.
Veterans
Tier-4 creature growth in all your cities increases by 2. This bonus is doubled if the hero knows “Diplomacy”.
Expert Recruitment
+4 to tier-1, +3 to tier-2, and +2 to tier-3 creature growth in all your cities.
Relocation
Grants a new global map spell. It allows interaction with any controlled city, enabling the transfer of creatures to or from that city. Usable once per day.
Strenuous Training
Friendly creatures gain 2 HP.
Mentors
Allows creatures in the hero’s army to be upgraded outside the city, provided the army already contains the upgraded version. Upgrading this way costs more than normal.

Skill Synergies

Knowing Recruitment will give the following benefits to other sub-skills:

Manacraft
The hero’s maximum mana increases by 2 per their Attack and Defense. This bonus is doubled if the hero knows “Recruitment.”
Hymn to the Martyrs
Friendly creatures generate +1 Focus Point(s) when they take Damage. This bonus is doubled if the hero knows “Recruitment.”
Expert Battlecraft Manacraft

The hero's maximum mana increases by 2 per their Attack and Defense. This bonus is doubled if the Hero knows Recruitment.

Expert Defense Hymm to the Martyrs

Friendly creatures generate +1 Focus Point(s) when they take Damage. This bonus is doubled if the Hero knows Recruitment.

Artifact Effects

Holy Sigil of Uurdt  — Epic Relic
While worn, grants all unlearned Subskills of the following Skills: Defense, Primal Magic, Recruitment.
