Ruby Gemstone is a heroic item found in Jewelry Boxes in the Woodland region.
The 4 damage benefit of this item is not a replacement for the hero's attack number, but a pure additive effect, similar to how many of the Edges work. Only the
attack number is evaluated, and only at the time of each strike.

Synergies
Attack Oil has increased the hero's attack stat before this item 'looks' at it.
Melting Iceblade may be mostly not affected except for the one turn that it has lowered attack sufficiently.
