Boots of Sloth can be obtained from the Crone by choosing one of two items she randomly offers from her trove of cursed relics. You only get to move 3 tiles per time unit instead of 5 tiles. So each day lasts until the player has moved 30 tiles on the map and each night lasts until the player has moved 18 tiles on the map.
