Overview
The Seven Seas is the setting of the pirate haven and its ships. There are many regions beyond the pirate haven that begin in the fog of war until discovered by sending ships to their Discovery Points. Each region has its own quest line aligned with the Principle Paths and some side quests and minor events. When no ship is in a region for a while, the fog of war takes over again, and a ship needs to be sent back to its Discovery Point to reveal the region again.
Events and Embarking

The events in each region appear at various locations, and a ship must be built, crewed, and sent to embark on each event. The ship will sail across the Seven Seas to the event in real time, typically a few minutes. During this time, plans for other ships can be made, the pirate haven can be managed, or the simulation speed can be increased to make the trip go by faster.
Only one ship can embark on an event at once. Assigning a second ship to an event will unassign the other. An unassigned ship will stop where it is in the world and await new orders.

When the assigned ship arrives at the event, the captain will say something, and the ship will stop (or follow the moving event). Entering the event either offers a decision or objectives to complete. While making the decision or completing event objectives, everything else is paused.
- Main article: Events
Regional events
Events in a region might be any of the following:
Crown Port
Drifting Castaways
Friendly Port
Jetsam
Merchant Ship or Treasure Fleet
Shipwreck
Smuggling Run- an event belonging to the region quest line
- a Principle Path quest
Friendly Port

Completing the region's quest line will convert one of the quest locations into a Friendly Port. Entering the friendly port will allow the ship to be repaired, re-crewed, and resupplied without returning to the pirate haven in exchange for
Coin and resources from the island. (No transfer of resources is required; purchase is instant.) All cargo stays aboard the ship.
The Friendly Port is a way to avoid returning to the pier and losing accumulated Sea Legs buffs from the special
Seafaring building
Shrine of the Sea.
Regions

Note: For orientation, the viewing angle when first arriving at the pirate haven, looking at the camp from the inlet, is considered north.
Skull Rock vicinity
The first region is revealed with one Discovery Point just south of Skull Rock and the Tier 2 Principle Path quests.
- Dangerous fog - northwest
- Smuggler island - northeast
- Barbos Bay - southeast
- Jungle island - southwest
Ring 1
Four regions surround Skull Rock, each with their own quest line, ambitions, decisions, and Tier 3 Principle Path quests.
Ring 2
Five regions surround the first ring, with more quest lines, ambitions, captains to rescue, and advanced Principle Path quests.
Ring 3
Four Regions are on the outermost ring. Final main quests and principle quests can be completed here. Side quests can have large quantities of
Coins and other loot.
Silver can be found in Recurring Events here. Crown Attacks of Level 5 will spawn here with 6 Health.
