Principle Paths

From Corsair Cove Official Wiki

Overview

The Pirate Principle Paths are the four ways pirates assert their dominion and claim victory over the Seven Seas. Pirates complete the progressively difficult quests for any one or many of the Principle Paths and earn notoriety, build their empire, master the seas, or amass a fortune—or complete all four!

Pirates acquire Principle Points in one of the four paths through completing the Quests or Deeds associated with that Principle Path. Points are spent unlocking new buildings, boosters, and ships on the Compass, giving the pirate haven access to the stronger ships needed to progress further in the questlines.

The paths are the following:

Questline summaries

Each path's story aligns with the values and role a pirate plays when following that path's Pirate Principle. There's no limitation to pursuing one at a time; some pirates want to become the most Notoriously Wealthy Seafaring Emperor!

Notoriety

Pirates seeking to become renown for looking danger in the face, living to tell the tale, and providing the best haven in which to recount their stories follow the path of Notoriety.

Empire

Building a hegemony of alliances, allies, and patrons across the Seven Seas requires assertion of strength over enemies and advocacy for the ostracized and is the path of Empire.

Seafaring

Only those who wish to master the seas, storms, and mysteries of the depths and can prove they can outrun and outsmart the terrors between both horizons follow the path of Seafaring.

Wealth

Nothing matters besides filling caverns with precious gold and goods and hunting for the biggest treasures, whether mythical or real, and claiming it. This is the path of Wealth.
