Overview
Charcoal serves as an ingredient in many metalworks related to advanced game production chains and is produced by the Charburner.
Purpose
Charcoal sits in the middle of many complex resource production chains. Advanced ship construction materials, especially those requiring metals, require Charcoal in their production chain.
Strategy
Charcoal has a high base production for a small space and does not need upgrades to power more advanced production chains with a single building. The consumption is just a fraction of the Quarry and a single Woodcutter can cover it.
