Items are the easily moved things on the Map.

Clanfolk may construct and handle many things in the course of a game, which fall into three broad categories; Items, Buildings, and Objects.

  • Items are able to be left in Stockpiles and can be easily picked up and carried by the Clanfolk. The number carried at once depends on the Item; a single Large Rock is carried by itself, while 50+ Branches, Straw, etc. may be carried together.
  • Objects are the things used to process/create Items. and are built from other Items. (While Packed Up an Object is also a Crate, which is an Item that can be stored.)
  • Buildings are where Clanfolk will live and work. Can contain the other two types and are built from Items.

As they are often used to make other things, Items will often be referred to as Ingredients on this wiki.
Many (but not all) Items will stack when left on the ground (whether as initially obtained or in Stockpiles), and most can be placed in specific Storage Objects which consolidate them even more.
Some of those Items are not constructed, but simply found on the Main Map, and are gathered by the Clanfolk. Mostly via the use of Tools although Branches, Stones, Large Rocks, Mushrooms, and Berries do not require a Tool.

Referencing the Stockpiles page will provide a visual indication of most Items in game (some from Update 17 onwards have not yet been uploaded).

Table is a partial (to be completed) listing of Items in game and how to obtain them.
N>B. Traders might only sell Items if from particular Clans (Coast, Forest, Mountain, Plains) and/or after certain Reputation has been reached.
Because no resources are lost during construction and deconstruction if Objects are no longer required/wanted their deconstruction may provide Items of use.
