Does Public Performances affect gathering as well as production? "Yields" is a bit vague here, unless it's defined somewhere that I'm not finding.
Yes, bonuses to double Yields affect anything that takes time for villagers to gather or produce. This affects Farming, Fishing, Gathering, Production buildings, and Woodcutting, but not effects and cornerstones that generate resources "for free", such as Roots Delivery Line, or Moldy Grain.
